Have you noticed today the reaction to last nights speech by Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal? Liberal Democrats have been in a tizzy all day and I expect it will continue for weeks. The governor seems to have hit a nerve despite the expected criticism of delivering a boring speech full of the same old ideas. If that where really true why all the commotion today? I think that despite what Liberals are saying they are scared to death of Bobby Jindal because they know the tired old rhetoric will not work as well on him. He is young, younger than Obama. Liberals love saying Republicans are to old to be in touch with young Americans. Democrats love saying that their opponents are out of touch with real Americans despite their aversion to large portions of the country including Louisiana. Governor Jindal is a Rhoads scholar just like Bill Clinton so they are going to have a hard time selling the idea that he is stupid. It has been standard operating procedure for countless years to portray Conservatives as morons. I have faith that Liberals are working on a way to call into question governor Jindal’s education as we speak. It is going to be interesting to see how this is going to be accomplished with out throwing Bill Clinton under the school bus. The governor has served two terms in Congress and is now a sitting governor so they can not say he is inexperienced. He has years more experience than Obama has ever had. Governor Jindal has dealt with such things as Hurricane Katrina and other large deserters in the state of Louisiana. Democrats have ravaged the state of Louisiana for decades and left the state in shambles. Governor Jindal has a large task ahead of him in getting the state back on its feet, just as America has to recover from years of neglect and government mismanagement. The last thing that Democrats want is for America to see a competent Conservative leader that has rebuilt a state and is ready to lead in the rebuilding of America. Since the governor is not white it is going to be hard to paint him as a racist since Liberals insist that only whites can be racist. On the first page of the Liberal play book it says to call any opponent a racist and to say it often. He can not be called anti-immigrant because he is the son of immigrants. When the governor opposes illegal aliens people must look at the actual issue and not just stop at the tired old racist anit-immigrant label. Liberals have no idea what to do about him so they are letting loose with everything they have early to see what will stick. The only thing they can try to use in mass is that he is from Louisiana, a state they see as backward and uncultured. They are to short sited to remember that Louisiana is in the shape it is in not because of Republicans but because of years of Democrat corruption and control. Governor Jindal is doing his best to clean things up and turn the state around. Liberals know that if he does this it only makes him a stronger candidate.

I was lucky enough to have been at home this morning right next to my computer. I usually check the news site often and as usual I checked out the Drudge Report and WOW! When I get up this morning I was expecting an average day, I had no clue that today would be the day that the gauntlet would be cast at the collective feet of Washington and especially with such passion. I must admit that I had never heard of Rick Santelli until this morning, but he is my hero now! Who would have ever thought that a fin actual reporter from CNBC would be the man that stood up and said what so many of us are thinking. He said that Franklin and Jefferson are rolling over in there graves because of the things that our government is doing and I share the same feeling. With that said I am quite sure that Samuel Addams and Thomas Paine are also grinning ear to ear as we speak. Now it is time for the rest of us to stand strong with Mr. Santelli. We all must show that he is not alone and insure that his voice stays strong. We must unite and stand along side one another. It is the duty of us all to safeguard our freedom and liberty, not just Rick Santelli.
